Activities
Islam teaches us to be good citizens and be productive members of society. As part of this edict, the community has stepped up to provide social work. Some of the activities we participate in are listed below.
Charity
​
Charity is a compulsory component of Islam and every Muslim has to pay alms and care for those that are less fortunate.
Community Service
​
The local Muslim community engages in community service events such as Habitat for Humanity and cleanup activities.
Spirituality in Islam
​
The spiritual aspect of Islam is very powerful. Muslims believe in one god and are commanded to pray five times a day to stay grounded.
